Since 1856 the owl accompanies the estate. It unites wine and culture and is a symbol for knowledge, tranquility and consistency. All these attributes still have the same validity today and have determined our craft and philosophy for generations.

Following the long family tradition, Hiedler-wines are crafted in an artisanal and traditional way. They are shaped by our pursuit of longevity, elegance and balance - an interplay of ripe acidity, natural residual sugar and extract. Their distinct character comes from the clayey, chalky loess and meager primary rock soils. Year after year, the outstanding vineyards in the Kamptal allow us to craft lively wines that represent their unique origin along with great aging potential.
